Frequently Asked Questions
What are your current visiting hours?
What can I find at the farm during Summer?
Our hours may extend in the early season! Generally, we are open 9:00AM-6:000PM Monday through Friday and on Saturdays 9:00AM-5:00PM. Please check our 'Visit Us' section for real-time seasonal updates. We are always closed on Sundays.
Summer is harvest time! Our farmstand is overflowing with homegrown tomatoes, sweet corn, peppers, and other local produce. Availability and stock changes frequently, so it's best to come in to see!
Are there specific rules for the petting zoo?
Is the petting zoo open?
To keep our animals happy and healthy, we ask that you only use the provided feed and supervise children at all times. There are absolutely no personal pets allowed. Gentle hands are a must, and we provide hand-sanitizing stations at the exit for your convenience.
The petting zoo is open whenever we are!
Do I need tickets for the petting zoo?
During the spring and summer seasons, the petting zoo does not require a ticket. In the fall when our festivities start, it is included only with the paid wristbands.
Is the farm accessible for strollers and wheelchairs?
Our parking lot and greenhouse are wheelchair accessible. Please note that other areas of the farm, including the fields, petting zoo, and some fall festivities, are located on mulch and grass, which may be more difficult to navigate depending on conditions.
Do you sell whole-sale?
We do sell whole-sale for our produce items. You can purchase whole-sale by visiting our store tab. To purchase wholesale, please call 219-838-6369.
When are you open for the season?
Our Greenhouse opens in mid-April. The Farmstand opens Father’s Day weekend and runs through Halloween. Our fall festivities begin the third weekend in September and run through Halloween.
